Vintage Leather-Bound London Guide, c.1960

When travelling around London, I still occasionally come across older couples unfolding a paper map and slowly finding their way through the city. In a time when almost everything can be found instantly on a phone, there is something quietly charming about seeing someone still walking through London with a well-used map in hand.

This small guidebook brings to mind that more analogue way of travelling. Compact and leather-bound, it contains maps and information to help navigate London, offering a tangible way of seeing the city rather than through a screen.
