A French vintage glass jam jar.
Jam and preserved fruits have long been part of everyday French food culture, with a variety of vessels used for storing and serving them. This low, wide glass jar is one such form found among older French kitchenware, traditionally used for holding jam and serving it at the table.
Made from clear glass, the jar allows its contents to be seen while its substantial weight and low, wide shape give it a pleasing sense of presence. With a generous capacity of approximately 300ml, it is well suited to holding jam or sauces, and can also be used today for serving yoghurt and fruit or enjoying an iced coffee.

To preserve the piece and prevent deterioration, we do not recommend using a dishwasher.
