This antique crumb brush was originally used to sweep breadcrumbs from the dining table. Its smooth, dark Real Ebony handle is paired with soft horsehair bristles, creating a beautiful balance of practicality and elegance.
The handle retains the REAL EBONY marking. A small but fascinating object that offers a glimpse into the table manners and domestic rituals of the past. Today, it can be used to clear crumbs from the dining table, or simply displayed on a desk or shelf as a decorative brush.

Vintage wooden objects naturally develop their own colour, grain and signs of use over time. This piece has received an initial wood polishing treatment. Its naturally formed texture, colour and signs of use have been preserved rather than excessively removed.
To help maintain the beauty and condition of the wood, we recommend occasional oil polishing. Please avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture. As an object that has been used and enjoyed over many decades, it shows natural wear and signs of age. Some bristles are missing from the holes at both ends of the brush. Please refer to the detailed photographs for the overall condition and individual signs of age.

Hand wash only. Do not use a dishwasher.
