작은 꽃 한두 송이를 담아두기 위해 만들어진 1904년 Birmingham 앤티크 실버 posy vase입니다. 19세기 후반부터 20세기 초, 영국의 테이블웨어에서는 커다란 꽃병과 함께 작은 꽃다발이나 한두 송이의 꽃을 담는 작은 베이스가 사랑받았습니다. Bud vase 또는 posy vase라 불리는 이러한 작은 화병은 식탁 위 각 자리나 사이드 테이블, 드레싱 테이블 등에 놓여 일상적인 공간에 작은 꽃을 더하는 용도로 사용되었습니다.
