영국에서 제작된 빈티지 오크 조립식 북랙입니다. 두 개의 곡선형 측면 지지대와 가로형 오크 패널을 서로 끼워 조립하는 구조로, 간결하면서도 독특한 형태가 특징입니다.
따뜻한 색감의 오크 나뭇결과 부드럽게 곡선을 그리는 측면 지지대가 어우러져, 단순한 구조 안에서도 아름다운 균형감을 보여줍니다. 일반적인 책을 꽂아두기에 적합한 크기와 구조로, 책상이나 선반 위에서 책을 정리하는 용도로 사용할 수 있습니다.
매입 당시 전해 들은 이야기에 따르면, 이 북랙은 과거 교회에서 사용되었을 가능성이 큰 제품이라고 합니다. 실제 사용처를 확인할 수 있는 자료는 없지만, 단정한 디자인과 실용적인 구조에서 당시의 공공 또는 종교 공간에서 사용되었을 법한 분위기가 느껴집니다.
몸체에는 다음과 같은 문구가 새겨져 있습니다. MADE IN ENGLAND PAT. No. 31965/31 새겨진 번호에서 “31”은 생산년도를 의미하는 것으로 알려져 있으며, “31965”는 해당 디자인의 특허번호로 추정됩니다. 정확한 특허 기록과 제조사는 아직 확인되지 않았지만, 이 표기는 제품의 제작 배경을 짐작할 수 있는 흥미로운 단서로 남아 있습니다.

전체적으로 매우 좋은 빈티지 컨디션을 유지하고 있습니다. 오크 특유의 아름다운 나뭇결과 자연스러운 세월의 색감이 잘 남아 있으며, 빈티지 제품에서 볼 수 있는 가벼운 사용 흔적은 있으나 특별히 눈에 띄는 큰 손상은 확인되지 않았습니다. 상세한 제품의 상태와 흔적은 상세사진을 통해 확인해 주세요. 본 오브제는 1차 우드 폴리싱 작업을 마쳤으며, 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 형성된 자연스러운 질감과 흔적은 과도하게 제거하지 않고 그대로 보존했습니다.
제품의 상태와 아름다운 질감을 오래 유지하기 위해 주기적인 오일 폴리싱을 권장합니다. 직사광선과 습기에 장시간 노출되지 않도록 주의해 주세요. 조립하거나 분리할 때에는 각 부품을 무리하게 비틀지 않도록 주의해 주세요. 일반적인 책을 정리하는 용도로 사용하시기를 권장하며, 과도한 무게를 올려두는 것은 피해주세요.
