프랑스에서는 오랫동안 잼과 과일 보존식품이 일상적인 식문화의 한 부분으로 자리해 왔으며, 이를 담아두기 위한 다양한 형태의 용기가 사용되어 왔습니다. 이처럼 낮고 넓은 형태의 유리 자르 역시 프랑스의 오래된 키친웨어에서 볼 수 있는 형태 중 하나로, 잼을 담아 식탁에 올려두고 덜어 먹는 데 사용되었습니다.

투명한 유리로 만들어져 내용물이 그대로 보이며, 묵직한 무게감과 낮고 넓은 형태가 특징입니다. 약 300ml의 용량으로 잼이나 소스를 담아두기 좋으며, 오늘날에는 요거트와 과일을 담은 요거트 볼이나 아이스커피를 담는 용도로도 잘 어울립니다.

세월의 흔적을 고스란히 간직한 피스로, 상단 림 부분에 약간의 칩이 있어 사용 및 취급 시 주의가 필요합니다. 현재의 가공 방식으로 제작된 제품이 아니기 때문에 글라스 내부에 작은 기포나 자연스러운 불완전함이 있을 수 있습니다.
