A charming antique propelling pencil, believed to have been made in France, with a hallmark to the body and the words “THE LUCKY” engraved on the top cap.
There is something rather lovely about finding such a simple and hopeful message on a tiny pencil. THE LUCKY feels almost like a little talisman — a small token of good fortune. We hope this little pencil brings a touch of good fortune to its new owner. Its petite size makes it particularly lovely for jotting down a quick note or a few words, rather than for extended writing.
It is compatible with Kaweco 1.18mm pencil leads, so it can also be enjoyed as a functional writing object. A small ring on the top cap allows a tassel, chain or other personal detail to be attached. Adding a small ornament of your choice can give the pencil another layer of beauty and make it uniquely yours.

This piece has received an initial polish using silver cleaner, while the natural patina that has developed over the years has been carefully preserved rather than excessively removed. To preserve its beautiful condition and longevity, we do not recommend frequent or excessive use of silver cleaner. When not in use, please store the pencil in an airtight zip-lock bag to minimise exposure to air. If necessary, gently wipe with a soft silver polishing cloth for maintenance.
