영국 셰필드에서 제작된 앤티크 실버 티 캐디 스푼입니다. S. Fender & Co. Ltd.의 제작자 마크가 남아 있는 피스로, 뒷면에는 셰필드에서 1915년에 제작되었음을 보여주는 실버 홀마크가 새겨져 있습니다.
영국에서 차 문화가 일상 깊숙이 자리 잡으면서, 찻잎을 보관하는 티 캐디와 함께 작은 티 캐디 스푼 역시 티 테이블의 중요한 구성품으로 사용되었습니다. 당시 차는 단순한 음료를 넘어 사교와 환대의 문화를 상징했으며, 찻잎을 덜어내는 작은 도구에도 실용성과 장식적인 아름다움이 함께 담겼습니다. 티 캐디 스푼은 이러한 티타임의 섬세한 의식을 보여주는 오브제입니다.
이 피스는 조개껍질을 연상시키는 스푼 볼과 손잡이를 따라 이어지는 여성스럽고 섬세한 인그레이빙이 인상적입니다. 조개 모양의 스푼 부분은 빛을 받으며 부드러운 입체감을 드러내고, 손잡이에 더해진 장식은 가느다란 실루엣에 우아한 리듬을 만들어냅니다. 작은 크기 안에서도 형태와 장식의 균형이 돋보이며, 당시 영국 실버웨어에서 찾아볼 수 있는 섬세한 취향을 느낄 수 있습니다.
