작은 꽃 한두 송이를 꽂아두기 위해 만들어진 빈티지 실버플레이트 버드 베이스 한 쌍입니다.
19세기 후반부터 20세기 초, 영국의 테이블웨어에서는 커다란 꽃병보다 작은 꽃다발이나 한두 송이의 꽃을 담아 식탁과 개인의 공간을 장식하는 작은 베이스가 사랑받았습니다. bud vase 또는 posy vase라 불리는 이러한 작은 화병은 식탁 위 각 자리나 사이드 테이블, 드레싱 테이블 등에 놓여 일상적인 공간에 작은 꽃을 더하는 용도로 사용되었습니다.
이 피스는 부드럽게 퍼지는 실루엣과 scalloped rim이 돋보이며, 은은하게 반사되는 실버 표면과 섬세한 형태가 작은 크기에도 우아한 존재감을 만들어냅니다.
바닥면에는 ISG 마크와 EPNS 표기가 남아 있습니다. ISG는 Birmingham에서 활동한 «Israel Sigmund Greenberg & Co.»의 마크로 알려져 있으며, EPNS는 Electro Plated Nickel Silver의 약자로 니켈 실버 바탕에 은을 전기 도금한 방식입니다. Sterling silver와는 다르지만, 실버의 아름다운 표면과 섬세한 장식성을 보다 일상적인 가격대에서 구현할 수 있었던 소재로 널리 사용되었습니다.
두 개를 함께 두었을 때 더욱 아름다운 비례를 이루는 pair로 구성되어 있으며, 각각의 컨디션에는 차이가 있습니다. 한쪽에는 보다 자연스러운 세월의 흔적과 표면감이 남아 있으므로, 상세한 상태는 함께 제공되는 사진을 참고해 주세요.

모든 빈티지 오브제는 오랜 시간을 거치며 자연스러운 사용감과 세월의 흔적을 지닙니다. 본 제품은 실버 클리너를 사용한 1차 폴리싱 작업을 마쳤으며, 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 형성된 자연스러운 파티나는 과도하게 제거하지 않고 그대로 보존했습니다. 제품의 아름다운 상태와 수명을 오래 유지하기 위해 실버 클리너의 잦거나 과도한 사용은 권장하지 않습니다. 사용하지 않을 때에는 공기와의 접촉을 최소화하여 보관해 주세요. 필요할 경우 부드러운 실버 폴리싱 천으로 가볍게 닦아 관리해 주세요.

Wipe gently with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excessive polishing,
as these may damage the original finish or patina.
Unless specifically stated, vintage metal pieces are not recommended for direct food contact.

Hand wash only. Do not use a dishwasher or microwave.
Use a soft sponge or cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes. Fine crazing and small age-related marks may naturally occur in vintage ceramics.
